Aredhel, called Ar-Feiniel or "the White Lady," was a Noldorin princess of the royal house of Fingolfin, sister to Fingon and Turgon. Wandering into the forest of Nan Elmoth, she was found by the Dark Elf Eöl, whom she wed, becoming the mother of Maeglin.
