In briefanswer capsule

Hallacar, son of Hallatan of Hyarastorni and of Elros’ line, courted Ancalimë as the shepherd Mámandil and later became her husband. Their life was without joy; she withheld warmth for their son Anárion and barred Hallacar from his land. He then had her women married in secret at a farewell feast of his house. She left Emerië in rage and hated him afterwards.
