Herucalmo, born in 2286, was husband to Tar-Vanimeldë, the third Ruling Queen. Younger than she and of equal standing in descent from Tar-Atanamir, he directed affairs while she turned her attention to melody and dance. After she died in 2637 he ruled under the name Tar-Anducal and kept the crown from their son Alcarin. Certain reckonings skip him as seventeenth and continue with Alcarin. He died in 2657.
