The seven sons of Fëanor, and the oath they swore

The Silmarillion names them in one breath, eldest to youngest: Maedhros the tall, Maglor the mighty singer, Celegorm the fair, Caranthir the dark, Curufin the crafty, and last the twins. That is the order here. Their father stands first, because the oath that bound all seven was his.
