The seven sons of Fëanor, and the oath they swore

The Silmarillion names them in one breath, eldest to youngest: „Maedhros the tall; Maglor the mighty singer …; Celegorm the fair, and Caranthir the dark; Curufin the crafty …; and the youngest“ — the twins. That is the order here. Their father stands first, because the oath that bound all seven was his.
