In brief
Hildórien is an eastern land of Middle-earth. There Ilúvatar’s later-born children first awoke when the Sun appeared. That light rose in the West; human eyes turned toward it, and most later wandering followed that bearing. The Eldar called them Atani, the Second People, and Hildor, the Followers, among further names. No Vala entered Hildórien to direct or invite humankind.
