In brief
Aghan, a Drûg known as a leech, is a close friend of the forester Barach and spends much time with his family. While Orcs roam the woods he watches their house by night. Called to heal his wounded brother, he leaves a watch-stone charged with some of his power. Later it sits on a dead Orc, legs blackened and cracked; Aghan’s own legs are blistered, since power passed into a made thing means sharing its hurts.
