Haldad

When Orcs struck the Haladin in the southern woods of Caranthir’s realm, Haldad organized resistance among a people whose homesteads usually stood alone. He led the able-bodied to the confluence of Ascar and Gelion, enclosed the angle with a timber fortification from river to river, and brought the rescued non-combatants behind it. The siege lasted until provisions ran out; he perished in a counter-attack. Twin offspring Haleth and Haldar shared the fighting.
