The house of Finwë, generation by generation
The Noldor are hard to follow because everyone is related to everyone. This path walks the descent from Finwë downwards — one generation at a time, so that each name arrives with its place in the family already clear. The order is not a judgement: it follows the descent recorded in the register. One branch is missing: Finarfin has no entry yet, so Galadriel and Finrod Felagund — his children — cannot be placed here.
