The Kings of Arthedain, Amlaith to Arvedui

When Arnor was divided, Amlaith of Fornost held the eldest line. Fifteen kings follow, ending with Arvedui — „Last-king“, and the name was given him at his birth by a seer. He claimed the crown of Gondor, was refused, and drowned in the ice of the northern bay. After him no king ruled in the North, only chieftains.
