In briefanswer capsule

Eärnur, son of Eärnil II, was the thirty-second King of Gondor. His father sent him north by sea to aid Arthedain, yet he reached the Grey Havens only after that land had fallen to the Witch-king. Joining the Host of the West, he helped defeat Angmar and led Gondor’s horsemen in chase until his mount shied from the Witch-king and carried him off. He died in 2050; thereafter Stewards ruled, the royal line having ended.
