In briefanswer capsule

Eilenach is the second of the seven beacons and the highest point of the Drúadan Forest, visible far to the west. Its task was to pass on the warning of Amon Dîn; its sharp summit left too little room for a great fire, which is why the next beacon westward was built to carry the large blaze. The name is held to be neither Sindarin nor Númenórean nor Common Speech, a survival from before the coming of Men out of the West.
